James Robert Connolly, 83, of Pomona, a South Orange native, died recently. Connolly was born in South Orange and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He worked as a union plumber and owned Kennedy's Bar in Pomona. A memorial service will be held Monday, Aug. 3, at 5 p.m. at Atwood-Peterson funeral home in Egg Harbor City.
