Lynda H. Cataldo, of Orange died on Oct. 12. She was 62. Born in Orange, Cataldo lived in New York City for 30 years before returning to Orange. She studied at Marylawn of the Oranges from first grade through high school and received a degree from Marymount College in Virginia. Cataldo had a 30-year career in advertising starting in the late 1960s, working for Chalk, Nissen & Hamft in New York as an account executive for clients including London Fog and After Six, and later starting her own advertising firm, L.H. Cataldo Associates. In the late 1990s, she left her firm to work at her family's company, Spartan Sales in Hillside, until it was sold in 2006.
