Marylawn Student Artist Shows Work in County Hall of Records
Lervelle Regis, a student at Marylawn of the Oranges in South Orange, was among 100 student artists welcomed to the Essex County Hall of Records on Monday by County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. The County Executive showed his appreciation for the students' contributions to the Art Educators of New Jersey Student Art Exhibit, which he has co-sponsored with the Art Educators of New Jersey for the past six years. Open to the public, the show has graced the first floor lobby of the Hall of Records since February and will remain on display through the rest of March. Featured are original works, including lifelike portraits, paintings and drawings, by 100 students from 34 different elementary, middle and high schools in Essex and Morris Counties.
