South Orange was represented at the 2012 Junior Olympics National Taekwondo Championships held on June 29th to July 4th in Dallas, TX. 

Apex Tigers Martial Arts in Florham Park, better known as TEAM ATMA, rallied a total of 19 medals in the National Championship with over 4,000 competitors.  

One of the medalists, Whye Li Ong placed on the podium by winning the silver medal in forms.
