William Thomas King of Silverwoods in Manchester Township, died on Nov. 16 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. He was 75. King was born in Kentucky and lived in Seaside Heights before moving to Manchester in 2004. Before his retirement, he had worked in the restaurant business in South Orange, first at Bunny's Tavern for 15 years and then as a manager at Gruning's for many years. A veteran of the U.S. Army, King was a member of the American Legion Post 140 in Millburn. He was also a sea captain who sailed Barnegat Bay.
