On Dec. 7, Words Bookstore in Maplewood will donate 5% of all its sales to the South Orange-Maplewood School District Parenting Center. The shop and The Parenting Center have also been distributing special coupons which, when presented, will entitle The Parenting Center 20% of the profits on that purchase.
Words' donations from that day will help The Parenting Center purchase gifts for disadvantaged children in the district who might not otherwise receive holiday gifts.
