12-12-12 Concert: Share Your Photos With Patch
Superstorm Sandy benefit concert to feature some of music's biggest names.
Some of music's biggest stars will take the stage at Madison Square Garden Wednesday night for a globally-broadcast concert to benefit Superstorm Sandy victims.
All proceeds from ticket sales for the concert, 12-12-12, will directly benefit the Robin Hood Relief Fund, an organization that provides aid to local groups seeking to help residents in New Jersey, Connecticut, and Long Island who were hit hardest by the storm in October.
Patch has also launched its own relief campaign to help victims of Sandy. For every tweet sent with the hashtag #PatchRebuilds (up to $125,000), Patch will donate to the AmeriCares Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief Fund. Tweet the hashtag #PatchRebuilds, or go to our Patch Rebuilds website, rebuilds.patch.com, and tweet directly from the site to help contribute.
Singers who will be peforming at the 12-12-12 concert include Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Paul McCartney, Jon Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, The Who, Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Eddie Vedder, Chris Martin, Roger Waters and more.
The show will air live at 7:30 p.m. on many major television networks and radio stations, but we know some of our readers will have in-person seats at the major music event. Help others share the experience of the 12-12-12 concert by uploading your own photos to our gallery.
