His political fortunes on the wane in Newark, it is time to look for greener pastures, but if Frank Lauttenberg deigns to not allow him to run for the Senate seat, then he will run for governor, but he needs to get his ducks in a row. This guy has been running for office since he was a kid growing up in Harrington Park NJ. He is part of the Democratic Presidential Candidate Farm Team, much like Mr. Obama was before he vaulted onto the national screen at the convention. Booker is being groomed in much the same way, but he needs to get around the formidable mass of Christie, the immensely popular and immensely immense governor. Fat chance for Booker there.

Message to Cory: Stop the theatrics! Instead of living in a subsidized apartment for a month, or eating on a food stamp budget for a week, or riding around like batman at night with your armed security detail, or wasting valuable time tweeting, perhaps you could spend some time bringing jobs to Newark so the good people in your city could earn a living and afford good food for their families and create a healthy environment for their children that will reduce the asthma problem. I am sure the young men killing each other on your streets would rather be earning a paycheck. Like all other politicians, you fail at your present job and you move on to the next political rung on the ladder. Did you ever read "The Peter Principle"?

Been to Newark lately? Would you set up your business there and hire the kids on the street? I didn't think so. Change starts with communication. At least Cory does that. You'd be hard-pressed to find any other politician that does. Newark needs real solutions not outsiders raising their noses and passing the buck.
