CHS Olympian in Bloomfield Tonight
Joetta Clark Diggs will discuss her Head-to-Toe Fitness Program.
Olympic Champion and Columbia High School grad (Class of '80) Joetta Clark Diggs has been bringing her Head-to-Toe Fitness program to schools throughout New Jersey recently — including South Orange Middle School.
Tonight, she will address parents and teachers at Bloomfield Middle School when the BMS Home & School Meeting hosts the former South Orange resident.
Bloomfield Middle School Principal Annette Williams-Baker told Patch, "Mrs. Clark Diggs will be speaking. Also present will be UnitedHealthcare, who sponsored the program this year at BMS. Many of our students had the honor of working with Ms. Clark-Diggs and her staff in the Head to Toe Fitness Program in recent months." The public is invited to attend.
Patch visited Clark Diggs at SOMS last fall and profiled her sister, and fellow Olympian, Wendy Clark when she visited Maplewood Middle School in September.
Born in East Orange New Jersey, Clark Diggs graduated in 1980 from Columbia High School. She is a four-time Track & Field Olympian and winner of numerous track events spanning a 24-year career.
According to the website, USATrack&Field:
