I was honored to act as a reference for Michael when he was interviewing last Fall and am thrilled that he landed on his feet so quickly. I wish nothing but the best of success to Mr. B and hope he can accomplish even half as much as he did to improve SOPAC and South Orange. "Break a Leg", Michael!

Considering what he inherited, Mr. Bollinger did an exceptional job at SOPAC. He was out in the community and was great with his volunteers. He smoothed out rough relations between the Village and the center. He started new events like Blues in the Loft, Jazz in the Loft and brought in the fantastic annual Giants of Jazz concert. Bollinger selected many amazing performers, including the majority of the current season. According to a recent Patch article, under his leadership last year reached record attendance. He worked hard and will be missed in S.O. And so it goes….
