POLL: Is Tanning Dangerous?
Nutley mom's arrest and appearance leaves many shaking their heads.
What a crazy week it was for Patricia Krentcil.
The 44-year-old Nutley mom became infamous nationwide for a scandal that started because she was accused of letting her five-year-old daughter go into a tanning booth with her.
Police arrested Krentcil, who also had an oustanding warrant, after the little girl allegedly complained of being burned.
Since then Krentcil has appeared on national television and in publications around the United States. And the public has started to question the issue of what appears to be excessive tanning and whether or not it's safe for children to be allowed at tanning salons.
Krentcil has denied the allegations and said her daughter went with her, but was never allowed in the tanning bed.
Experts are weighing in, calling the Nutley mom "tanorexic" and warning against excessive tanning and sunburn.
What do you think? Is it a lot of drama about nothing? Did it really happen?

This is your poll question?! Is it because you don't believe science that you ask this question? Or have you sincerely not heard the news that tanning is dangerous? Will we next have a poll on whether or not drinking Drano is dangerous? On whether shooting up heroin is dangerous? I am agog at the writing on this site. Can we please, please, please get some additional writers?!
