South Orange Store Collects School Supplies for charity
The school supply drive looks to South Orange and Maplewood for donations
Meeting Emergency Needs with Dignity (MEND) is a cause near to many locals' hearts, and a familiar way to donate food and toiletries. For the new school year, MEND needs donations of school supplies that can be dropped off at Morrow Church and at The UPS Store in South Orange.
At Morrow, there are two labelled collection bins at the church, one near the sanctuary (Ridgewood Road entrance), and another near the church office (Baker Street entrance). The UPS Store also has a labeled collection area.
This time of year sees many back-to-school sales; items on the MEND wishlist include:
Items needed: Back packs, folders, crayons, markers,scotch tape, safety scissors, pencils, loose leaf paper, healthy snacks, antibacterial wipes, highlighters, pencil boxes, notebooks, construction paper, lunch boxes, glue sticks, pens, rulers, flash cards.
