South Orange-based EIES of New Jersey, the last radio reader service operating in the state, held its 35th annual fundraiser gala at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston on Tuesday, Oct. 20. Dr. Fred M. Jacobs and the Maplewood Lions Club were honored. Tickets were $125, and there were about 120 guests in attendance.
