The Crucible, Arthur Miller's powerful Colonial “witch hunt,” was peformed this past weekend at the Burgdorff Center for the Performing Arts in Maplewood. Part history lesson, allegory, and warning, it opened Friday night with performances by a fine cast of talented actors from the community.

Looking to get into the Halloween spirit? There's another weekend ahead to find out which of your neighbors are crying, "Witch?"

Performances continue 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19 and Saturday, Oct. 20, with 2 p.m. matinees on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 21.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students (w/ID) and seniors.
