Bank Robber Sought After Stealing Thousands, Cops Say
Maplewood Police said no one was injured in this morning's incident at Bank of America.

Maplewood Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are investigating a robbery that took place at the Bank of America on Maplewood Avenue Saturday morning.
According to police, no one was injured in the incident that occurred at 10:41 a.m.
The alleged robber — a man — mentioned a weapon to the teller, according to Sgt. Joseph Guglielmo, but no weapon was seen. He reportedly made off with several thousand dollars, said Guglielmo.
"The suspect is at large and police are following some solid leads," said Guglielmo. "We will catch this guy."

There has been an upswing of crime lately, I am not surprised really. Ever since the police station moved I hardly see police on this side of town. Where therearrfewcops there will be crime.

Whatever happened to those explosive dye-packs they hide in "robbery" money that's suppose to explode and taint all the money and the criminal w/this caustic tough to remove dye?

I was in the bank. The guy just took the money from the drawer, not bags of cash. (I don't know if they use dye packs any more.)
