Second South Orange Middle Teacher Will Pursue Donaldson Hearing
Kathleen McCort joins Steven Cohen in legal proceedings
Kathleen McCort on Friday afternoon notified Patch that she will pursue a Donaldson hearing. McCort's announcement follows that of Steven Cohen, who notified Patch on Thursday night that he will do the same. Both teach eighth grade Social Studies at South Orange Middle School.
The two teachers' non-renewals in this, their tenure year, led to a storm of student and parent protest this spring.
