The choir will be performing In His Presence for the community to see.
Seton Hall University’s Gospel Choir is putting on a free concert on Saturday, December 3, and the community is invited to attend. As part of their Christmas at the Hall events, the group will be performing In His Presence as their fall 2011 concert. The concert will be held in Jubilee Hall at 7 p.m.
Currently, the choir has approximately forty singers and musicians. In His Presence is based on the biblical scriptures from Acts 17:24-30.
The choir is in its 39th year and has performed with the Dance Theatre of Harlem, and ministers in song, movement arts, spoken word and instrumental renditions.
Recently they have been performing once per week in homeless shelters, community centers, churches, schools and colleges around the area.
They also offer motivational and spiritual development workshops to community churches and organizations.
The concert will follow a day of holiday activities around South Orange.
