There will be three spaces devoted to electric vehicles located by the NJ Transit parking lot.  Owners will be able to park and charge their cars while being charged a nominal fee, likely on an hourly basis.

The amount of the fee hasn’t been determined, however, it will be payable with the Smart Card system currently being used by the South Orange Parking Authority for its metered lots.
