South Orange Could See Hail, Damaging Winds, Torrential Rain
The Thursday evening forecast calls for severe South Orange weather
The National Weather Service predicts severe weather on Thursday afternoon and evening, and has issued a special weather statement:
A line of severe thunderstorms is heading for this area and are likely to enter the New York City area around 5 p.m.
The storms are capable of winds over 58 miles per hours, hail and dangerous lightning. Torrential ran with rates of one to two inches per hour are likely. Isolated tornadoes can't be ruled out.
