South Orange MS Students Send Sympathy to Newtown
SOMS sixth graders wrote letters to residents Connecticut town.
Students in Caroline Pew's sixth grade classes wrote and decorated cards for residents of Newton, Conn., in the wake of Friday's school shootings.
The sixth graders made 300 cards of sympathy and support, including poems and letters.

What a loving and healing jester for both the senders and recipients. I am extremely proud to see my grandson whom I love as part of this group. This has touched us all. Such a thoughtful way for our children to touch the people of Newtown to let them know they are not alone.
