South Orange Residents Remain in the Dark
With a new storm looming, resident worry and wonder
While repair crews from many states line the streets, and most schoolchildren are back in class -- even if it's for a shorter day than usual -- many South Orange residents remain without power.
Ten days after Sandy struck the area, PSE&G reports some 2500 residences without power. Neighborhoods include parts of Tuxedo Park, Newstead, and the streets between Wyoming and Ridgewood. However, some "pockets" have power restored, even in those areas.
On Tuesday, PSE&G reported a focus on:
W. 3rd St, N. Wyoming Ave, Glenside Rd, Ravine Dr, Wyoming Ave, Crest Circle, Crestwood Rd, Longview rd, Great Hills Dr, Inwood La, Brentwood Dr, Mead St, Hillside Terr, Nassau St, Franklin Terr, McLaughlin Pl, Meadowbrook Lane.
The work schedule released on Tuesday afternoon, shows power remaining out through the weekend.
