South Orange Rotary Club Presents 5th Annual Service Above Self Awards

Three people, one business and an organization are being honored for their work in South Orange.

 

The Rotary Club of South Orange is acknowledging and celebrating the volunteer accomplishments of three people, one business and an organization for their contribution to the community of South Orange. 

On Sunday, November 13, at 3 p.m., the club will present its fifth annual Service Above Self Awards Beefsteak dinner at St. Andrew & Holy Communion Episcopal Church.  This fundraising event will  include Beefsteak dinner, acknowledgement of the honorees and silent auction gift baskets and a 50/50.

The honorees include John Mousseau of the Maplewood Rotary Club, a Managing Director & Portfolio Manager with Cumberland Advisors; Marilyn Lehren, an education reporter for Patch in Livingston; Chief Jim Chelel of the South Orange Police Department; the South Orange Rescue Squad with President Don Boyle and the Bayonne Community Bank (formerly the Allegiance Bank) with David Onderko, Sam Tolley and Branch Manager Susan Bonanni, South Orange Rotarian.  They have all made contributions above and beyond the scope of their jobs and businesses.
