Registration for the 2013 growing season is set for January 12. Residents who would like a plot of land in the community garden can register at Baird Center on January 12. The cost is $70.

The garden, located in Riverside Park on West Third Street, has 48 raised beds available. Each is 4 by 12 feet, and past years have seen flowers and bumper crops of vegetables raised.

The garden will open in March with clean-up dates. Garden plot-holders are expected to participate in both spring and fall tidying. In addition, gardeners are welcome at monthly meetings.
