The State of the Village is Positive and Moving Forward
Village President Torpey touts the community's preparedness
South Orange has successfully come through another year, and is looking forward, said Village President Torpey on Monday night in his State of the Village address.
An annual written report is required; Torpey chose to present his report to the public.
He said, "As the Village President, it's my responsibility to be accountable for what happens here on a day to day basis and it's my responsibility to report to the Board and the public about what we're doing. I hope people will join us on April 30th for what I hope will be the (re)start of a great annual tradition in South Orange."
