South Orange Loves Local (and Locals') Blogs
Patch asks what blog South Orange and Maplewood readers follow
Patch would like to spotlight local blogs and bloggers over the summer by showcasing blog posts -- on nearly any topic -- and introducing the writer. We've begun by profiling Joy Yagid, Brooke Lefferts, and Deborah Goldstein.
Summer reading takes many forms in this digital age, from Kindles to internet-loaded audiobooks. Writing and images also have new ways of reaching readers, and hundreds of blogs are added to the internet daily, according to several sources. So let's hear from locals who blog, whether the topic is photos, animals, thoughts about life, recipes...you name it!
Whether it's about our community, or simply written by a local, please share with Patch your favorite local blogs or bloggers, or, if you blog, tell us about it. Either post in the comments or email MarciaW@Patch.com.
(Please note that Patch is written for a general audience that includes teens, so not all topics are appropriate.)

I've started a blog on freebies (for me, my 6 year old daughter and my pit bull). www.FreeisNOTafourletterword.com. There are frequently deals for free events in and around NJ and great shopping deals at local supermarkets and stores.
