Charity Golf Tournament Raises $28,000 to Support the South Orange Rescue Squad

Goals are created to be exceeded…

Four months ago when the Citizens Public Safety Committee partnered with the South Orange Rescue Squad for a charity golf outing, we set a goal of raising $10,000.  At the time, this goal seemed ambitious.  But thanks to the outpouring of support and generosity from this community we raised $28,000.  Every penny will go to support our all-volunteer organization that provides life saving emergency medical services to South Orange and surrounding towns.  This event ended up being one of the largest fundraising efforts for the squad in its 60-year history.

But the job is not done.

You still have a chance to support those volunteers that stand ready to save our lives every day by clicking here.

Thanks again to everyone who supported our efforts, particularly all of our generous sponsors

You can view photos from the event here.  Feel free to share them and congratulations to all the tournament winners!

Thanks Deborah - and a special thanks to you as well for the time you personally put in with the planning committee. We appreciate your support of the event and getting out there and representing women golfers!
