So often we talk about your support system as you go through you divorce. Who
they are are how they can help you during this difficult time by being there,
listening without judgment, and being a sounding board for your questions and
decisions. This excerpt from iPEC's founder, Bruce D Schneider, hit the mark for
me and I wanted to share it. Hope it provokes some thoughts that serve
you.
Support, Happiness, and Appreciation
Posted: 09 Jul 2012
Relationships are often cited as very high on the list of what makes people the happiest in life. There are many reasons for that, including the ability to share your own experiences, live others’ experiences vicariously, share your gifts, and gain support.
Support helps us feel loved, protected, and cared for. Everyone wants to be supported at home, at work, and in all aspects of life. Happy people have others in their lives they can trust, rely on, and relate to.
Consider doing something kind for someone in your support system, perhaps writing a note telling that person how much you appreciate them.
