The South Mountain Peace Action of Maplewood and South Orange has organized an open forum titled: Israeli-Palestinian Peace: The Obama-Clinton Program for a Two-State Solution and How We Can Support It. Ori Nir, spokesman of Americans for Peace Now, Hussein Ibish, senior fellow of the American Task Force on Palestine and a local representative of J Street will be the spokesmen at this forum, who will speak on prospects for a two-state solution for Israeli-Palestinian peace under the Obama Administration. Art Loop at Hat City Kitchen

The second Art Loop monthly event will take place simultaneously at locations across Orange, such as Ironworks, Oualie Art, Arts Unbound, CatFish Friday, Daily Soup Café and Hat City Kitchen. The event is organized by The Valley Arts District to unite artists and galleries in the valley to give life to a multiple site event of flowing activities including art exhibits, workshops, demonstrations, live performances and movies screening. Guided tours of all locations will be conducted by volunteers from the University of Orange.

The event will feature a grand opening of ValleyArts new location, the Ironworks building with ORNG Ink, Studio Luna and SteinerStudio. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 5pm with City of Orange representatives and community leaders, followed by a music performance by Jazz House Kids at Studio Luna and performance by the SoundBox Banditz. Demonstrations and products sale by the ORNG Ink will begin at 4pm and a screening of the latest video production by SteinerStudio will begin at 6pm.
