This exhibition presented by the members of Book Arts Roundtable (BAR), features handmade books and paper arts. Members of the BAR will be available to answer questions and discuss techniques with gallery visitors during the exhibition. An opening reception will be held on March 4 from 6pm to 9pm with guest speaker Mary Taylor. A silent auction will be held on March 13 from 2pm to 4pm. More About The Baird
The Baird is a century-old, Tudor-style building that houses the Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs' administrative offices. There's a theater space used by three companies: Dreamcatcher, Penny Pretzel Playhouse and Flying Ship. The Pierro Gallery is located in the building too. Outdoor facilities include eight lighted tennis courts and a lighted basketball court.
The Village's Senior Social Services Unit is also located in the building. The office is open Tuesday and Thursday, 10am - 4pm. Its phone number is 973-378-7766, ext. 2225.
