 ternoon performance by local band Hub Hollow who return to the Macculloc
 h Hall garden after a tremendously popular and well received program las
 t year. Drawing on bluegrass\, rock\, &amp\; old time music\, Hub Hollow
  has been ...described as a new kind of old time music. Their beautifull
 y blended vocals and intricate melodies reflect a lifetime of creating m
 usic together. United in their desire to create hard-hitting\, interesti
 ng acoustic music\, the members of Hub Hollow have been playing together
 \, in different configurations for almost 20 years. Blending rock &amp\;
  bluegrass\, old time &amp\; blues\, members have enjoyed success on bot
 h coasts at many notable venues\, including both Telluride and Grey Fox 
 music festivals. Hub Hollow will perform in the colorful and elegant gar
 dens at Macculloch Hall Historical Museum. The gardens were restored in 
 the 1950s by the Garden Club of Morristown. Visitors will have the oppor
 tunity to explore through a variety of summer blooms in the garden and r
 elax on the large lawn during the program. Guests may bring picnics\, bl
 ankets or chairs and settle back for a late afternoon of great music in 
 a beautiful setting. The Delicious Ice cream Company will be in attendan
 ce for guests to purchase refreshments from a fully restored 1950 custom
  truck with an authentic ice cream man dressed in that same old fashione
 d outfit you remember as a kid. If you would like to get a taste of Hub

 ng out to the garden for the concert. The museum is open for tours of th
 e home and galleries from 1pm\, with the last house tour leaving at 3pm.
  Enjoy the current exhibit The Other Side of War: The Civil War on the H
 ome Front. Life on the home front was not easy for loved ones whom the s
 oldiers left behind. Women played an important role in the Union war eff
 ort\; starting the U.S. Sanitary Commission\, serving as nurses\, gather
 ing goods and raising money for the soldiers all contributed to the Unio
 n victory. The exhibit features letters to loved ones back home\, Lincol
 n memorabilia from the Museum's collection including a plate from his Wh
 ite House china\, and a document signed by Lincoln as President and also
  by the Secretary of War. The Museum will remain open until 4pm when the
  performance begins. Admission is Adults $8\; Seniors &amp\; Students $6
 \; Children 6 &ndash\; 12 $4. Members and children under 5 are free. Ple
 ase no dogs during programs in the garden. There is no rain date for thi

 ment will be made on the Museum&rsquo\;s main phone message. We are plea
 sed to offer accessible restroom facilities during garden events this su
 mmer.Macculloch Hall Historical Museum preserves the history of the Macc
 ulloch-Miller families\, the Morris area community\, and the legacy of i
 ts founder W. Parsons Todd through its historic site\, collections\, exh
 ibits\, and educational and cultural programs. It is located in the hear
 t of Morristown&rsquo\;s National Historic District. The Museum is open 
 to tour the house and view exhibits on Wednesdays\, Thursdays &amp\; Sun
 days from 1 to 4 p.m. The last tickets for admission are sold at 3 p.m.
