More About Temple Sharey Tefilo Israel's Iris Family Center for Early Childhood Education
Temple Sharey Tefilo Israel's Iris Family Center for Early Childhood Education
Located in Sharey Tefilo-Israel, this larger preschool has students from about 158 families (about 170 children in total) and is extremely family-oriented. They host monthly Saturday morning story hours for working parents and their children, and a Sunday evening pizza party happens about every six weeks. There's also a book club for parents.
There are specialty teachers to give music, drama and cooking classes. There's also a computer program. This winter, a specialty teacher will come during extended hours to teach soccer skills. The director is Carol Paster. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis, but the school will try to start a new class if there are five or six children on the waitlist.
