ed in 1992 as part of The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's Summer Pro
fessional Training Program\, to foster the work of early-career actors a
nd directors. One of several exciting outreach programs offered by the T

erformance to audiences throughout New Jersey\, while enabling young per
formers to gain valuable experience in classical theatre and ensemble wo
rk.Much as an Elizabethan traveling company would have done\, the troupe
tours with only minimal sets and without lighting equipment. In traditi
onal fashion\, actors typically perform in multiple roles. The performer
s rely upon the text and their craft\, rather than on elaborate sets\, c
ostumes and special effects\, to create theatrical "magic."For additiona
