Dreamcatcher is an equity theater group that's in its sixth year performing at The Baird.

It's a member of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance.

In the 2008-2009 season, Dreamcatcher is presenting two mainstage productions, two improvisational comedy nights, two new play readings, one holiday variety show, and the Dreamcatcher Junior show with child actors.

Spring's mainstage production is "The Great God Money," which will run March 6-22.

Dreamcatcher also has a four-week Summer Theatre Conservatory for students 10-17. Programming is supported by grants from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation and private donors.

Dreamcatcher sends audition notices to Actors' Equity, though most of the performers are resident members of the company.

The group is available for private parties -- either before or after a performance at the Baird, or for receptions at locations in the area.

It offers interships to high school and college students, who work as crew managers or stage managers on productions.
