The event will take place on Tuesday, May 22, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. It is open to the public free of charge, and refreshments will be served

Dr. Shapiro captivates adults and entertains children with this informative and interactive demonstration. He is a leading developer of robots that benefit human beings and improve the safety and security of the world. His robots, which have been commissioned by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), are able to climb between walls, scale slippery vertical surfaces, maneuver rough terrain and travel in spaces too small or inaccessible for people. Dr. Shapiro will demonstrate their capabilities and explain how his projects have impacted the medical, agricultural and defense industries.

The evening is being sponsored in cooperation with American Associates, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Greater New York Region. The event is free, but reservations are required. Please RSVP to Dana Ben-Benyamin at (646) 452-3702 or dbenyamin@aabgu.org.
