Seton Hall University’s Pirates of Irish Persuasion & Extraction (PIPE) will sponsor its second Irish Studies Discussion Series event of the semester: a program on the Irish Language on Monday, February 13 at 7:00pm. Madeleine Ní Ghallchobhair, the 2011-2012 CUNY Fulbright Language Teaching Assistant, will present a short Irish language lesson, after which Dr. Thomas Ó h-Íde (Ihde), Associate Professor of Irish and Chair of Languages and Literatures at Lehman College, will give a talk about learning the Irish language. The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place in the Beck Rooms of Walsh Library on Seton Hall University’s South Orange campus.
