We will be painting with watercolor to create still-life and landscapes. The Spring season is a great time to take advantage of the park-like surroundings around the Baird and the adjoining pond. Watercolor is a unique painting medium with which to experiment with transparencies and layering color.

More About The Baird
The Baird is a century-old, Tudor-style building that houses the Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs' administrative offices. There's a theater space used by three companies: Dreamcatcher, Penny Pretzel Playhouse and Flying Ship. The Pierro Gallery is located in the building too. Outdoor facilities include eight lighted tennis courts and a lighted basketball court.
The Village's Senior Social Services Unit is also located in the building. The office is open Tuesday and Thursday, 10am - 4pm. Its phone number is 973-378-7766, ext. 2225.
