We need your help with the Friends of the SOPL book donation days and our book sale weekend! ANY amount of time you can give us is needed and appreciated. Only one or two hours? Great!
We need volunteers to help with greeting and in-take of book donations June 9, 11, 12, 13, 14 hours: 10am-2pm and 6pm-8pm
PLUS we will need volunteers for our fun and community inclusive BOOK SALE on June 16th and our $5 Bag Sale on June 17th. We need help between the hours of 9am and 6pm on those days so we can fit your available hours into our day.

More About The Baird
The Baird is a century-old, Tudor-style building that houses the Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs' administrative offices. There's a theater space used by three companies: Dreamcatcher, Penny Pretzel Playhouse and Flying Ship. The Pierro Gallery is located in the building too. Outdoor facilities include eight lighted tennis courts and a lighted basketball court.
The Village's Senior Social Services Unit is also located in the building. The office is open Tuesday and Thursday, 10am - 4pm. Its phone number is 973-378-7766, ext. 2225.
