Take an Active Role in Your Child's Education Before Common Core is Implemented - Arkansas

Yes Your Child's Education Needs Your Attention

Yes your child needs your attention and your local Board of Education Members needs your support. Common Core is coming at your local school fast as it has been implemented in many places across the US already.

Parents Educators Do Not Like Losing Control of Their Kids Educatiional Program

Believe me, as Patricia Traeger from Norfolk, Virgina  stated there’s nothing wrong with taking an active interest in your child’s education. In fact, it is more important now than ever before that you, as parents become very actively engaged in finding out for sure what your children are being taught, what kinds of literature they are reading, and whether or not your school system is using political propaganda to indoctrinate their minds.

As I stated this is everywhere like Arkansas Against Common Core. Take a look at this presentation Patrick addresses many questions about Common Core, he explains the data-mining and PARCC test.

Who Controls Your Child's Education Program?

As you can see, people view it as:

  •  the government taking away the local power to educate your kids and change the curriculum when it doesn't meet your child's needs.
  • Also people want to do know what standards are being used as a basis for Common Core?
  • What does College and Career Readiness Mean?
  • People do not like the fact that the children's educational mindset comes from far away with a different perception of life.
People view it as indoctrinating our kids with a far away set of principles. Who want's that?
