The First Unitarian Universalist Church of Essex County offers a relaxed, cafe-style setting for a program that is both fun and educational. It is nondenominational and encourages families with children (babies and toddlers are welcome) and individuals to explore a variety of alternative spiritual experiences.
This month's spiritual program includes a short film on the childhood of Confucius and his ethical and philosophical system. Over the course of the year, EastWest will give presentations designed to bring all ages together. We'll span the gamut from animated films to Quaker Yoga!
Families interested are invited to take the FREE (for children) "Big Orange" eastbound train from Mountain Station in South Orange, which leaves at 11 am. Parking for the train is available at the nearby Mountain Station lots.
