Seton Hall ranked in top ten NJ colleges for ROI

Seton Hall University students enjoy one of the highest returns on investment among New Jersey colleges and universities, according to a new survey, “Highest Return on Investment Colleges in New Jersey,” released by affordablecollegesonline.org.  Among the 162 colleges and universities in the state, Seton Hall University was ranked seventh in student return on investment (ROI), a calculation taking into account tuition prices, starting salaries for graduates and ROI estimation over a long-term period.

“We are committed to the long-term success of our students and are continually working to enhance the value of a Seton Hall education,” said Alyssa McCloud, Vice President of Enrollment Management. “Seton Hall offers students all of the academic advantages of a large research university, a strong national reputation, rigorous academic programs, renowned faculty, proximity to New York City, a network of accomplished alumni, and an array of internship and hands-on career building experiences.  All of this takes place in an intimate, nurturing academic environment with small classes and significant personal attention and faculty mentorship.”

Seton Hall’s focus on affordability and access are also central to its mission of offering optimal value to students.  The university provides more than $70 million dollars in grants and scholarships each year, with 97 percent of students receiving some form of financial aid and 93 percent receiving a grant or scholarship directly from the university.
