South Orange Offers Warming Stations

Library, Baird Center and Municipal Offices are all available to the public to escape the cold.

South Orange Village officials are reminding residents to keep warm during Tuesday's extremely low temperatures.

All of New Jersey is in single digits, according to an nj.com report.

The South Orange Public Library, the Baird Center and the Municipal Offices at 76 South Orange Ave. are all available warming stations where residents can escape the cold and unthaw.

"You can also visit our local merchants downtown for a place to warm up, grab a bite to eat, a hot cup of coffee or even see a movie," the Village stated on its website. "Stay safe South Orange."
