South Orange To Burst With Tulips Come Spring

The SOVCA planted 5,000 tulips for the FlowerBomb event.

The South Orange Villange Center Alliance (SOVCA) and a team of volunteers planted 5,000 orange tulips, Sunday, for a FlowerBomb event.

“We had 100 volunteers and Assemblywoman Mila Jasey was there for the ceremonial planting of the first bulb,” said SOVCA Interim Director Nancy Gould. “All of the trustees were there, as was Village President Alex Torpey.”

“We also had 20 Seton Hall students helping out with the planting, as well as members of the South Orange Rescue Squad,” she added.
