South Orange Village Hall Relocates Monday

Village Hall will move to 76 South Orange Ave. for renovations.

The following message is from the Township of South Orange Village:

In connection with the upcoming renovation of the historic South Orange Village Hall, all municipal offices currently housed in Village Hall will be relocating to 76 South Orange Avenue, Third Floor, Suite 302, effective Monday, October 7, 2013.  

The offices will be moving on Thursday, October 3rd and Friday, October 4th.

During the move, we will make every effort to continue to provide services during regular hours at Village Hall, until Friday afternoon at 3 p.m.  However, there will undoubtedly be some interruptions or delays in service and in responding to telephone calls and emails.  

We thank all residents in advance for their anticipated patience and understanding.  As always, in the event of any emergency, please call 9-1-1.

Beginning October 7, 2013, Board of Trustee, Planning Board, Zoning Board of Adjustment and Historic Preservation Commission meetings will be held at the South Orange Performing Arts Center (“SOPAC”), 1 SOPAC Way, South Orange, NJ.  Board of Trustee Standing Committee and other committees and boards will meet in the Conference Rooms at 78 South Orange Avenue, Suite 302.

It is anticipated that Village offices will be located at 76 South Orange Avenue for approximately two years and the new meeting locations will continue for two years.
