Film Critic Handicaps Oscar Winners

The South Orange Public Library hosts an evening event with Allen Barra

Wonder who will take home the Oscar next weekend, and who will go home empty-handed?  Allen Barra predicts all.

The South Orange Public Library will host a discussion on the 85th Academy Awards film nominees on Tuesday evening, Feb. 19th, from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m., led by Barra.

Barra is an author and journalist, and contributing writer and film critic for the American Heritage magazine, as well as writing for American Heritage, online, and the New York Sun. He also is a writer for the Wall Street Journal and the Village Voice.  Mr. Barra's latest book is "Yogi Berra: Eternal Yankee".

There is audience participation following the Awards discussion, and refreshments will be served.  All are welcome to attend.
