Lauryn Hill Moves Out of South Orange Mansion

Singer settles rent dispute with landlords; township drops suit against her.

Singer Lauryn Hill has moved out of the South Orange mansion she rents after her landlords sued her last month for failing to pay rent, according to published reports.

Hill has reached a settlement with the couple that own the home, agreeing to pay $7,000 in rent and was expected to move out by May 31, a report from TMZ said.

As a result, South Orange has agreed to drop its suit against Hill and the couple for violating zoning laws by allegedly running a business out of a home, according to a report in The Star-Ledger.
