VH1 Super Bowl Blitz Makes Final Stop in Montclair

Wellmont Theater only New Jersey stop of traveling tailgate party.

The VH1 Super Bowl Blitz will travel through all five boroughs of New York City before making its only New Jersey stop in Montclair on the eve of the NFL championship game. 

Headliners and ticket information for the pre-Super Bowl tailgate party/concert at the Wellmont on Saturday, Feb. 1 and other tour stops will be revealed on Thursday, Jan. 9. 

The six consecutive events will be hosted by television personalities Nick Cannon and Stacy Keibler and are designed to rev up NY/NJ fans in the days leading up to Super Bowl XLVIII. 

The Sunday, Feb. 2 match at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford will be the first NFL championship to be played in the Northeast.

The VH1 Super Bowl Blitz (#VH1BLITZ) includes the following stops:

  • Queens: Queens College — Monday, Jan. 27
  • Bronx: Lehman College — Tuesday, Jan. 28
  • Brooklyn: Brooklyn Bowl — Wednesday, Jan. 29
  • Manhattan: Beacon Theatre — Thursday, Jan. 30
  • Staten Island: St. George Theatre — Friday, Jan. 31
  • New Jersey: The Wellmont Theater (Montclair, NJ) — Saturday, Feb. 1

Nicholas “Nick” Cannon has hosted America’s Got Talent, The Nick Cannon Show and Wild ‘N Out. Cannon is currently the chairman of TeenNick, a channel owned by the MTV Networks Kids & Family Group, a unit of the Viacom Media Networks division of Viacom.

Actress, model and television host Stacy Keibler has appeared in numerous comedy, drama, and dance projects, including How I Met Your Mother and Dancing With the Stars. Keibler is no stranger to football; she is a former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader.

The Super Bowl Blitz will be televised live on VH1 and will also be available at superbowl.vh1.com.
