Salon Hosts a “Jerseylicious” Girls Night Out

The Blow-Out Lounge at Anthony Robert Salon offers a girls' night with music, wine, style and a blow-out by one of their talented stylists.

Building on its "Jerseylicious" success, Anthony Robert Salon in Verona has expanded not only its location, but also its services.

After re-opening a new Bloomfield Avenue salon, the business is also expanding its menu for its clients.

For instance, the salon is offering a new Girls Night Out Blow-Out Lounge the last Thursday of every month from 6 to 9 p.m. at the salon, located at 279 Bloomfield Ave.

The service includes a blow-out from one of the salons stylists, music, appetizers and a chance to purchase the latest fashions from local vendors.

“It’s a nice girls night out, a nice way to mingle and enjoy the night,” said salon owner Anthony Lombardi. “They can enjoy a glass of wine, some cheese and a blow-out.”

The $50 treatment starts off with a 10-minute invigorating scalp massage followed by a GK hair-conditioning mask, which eliminates frizz up to 6 weeks and is topped off by a blow-out by one of their talented stylists.

In addition to the blow-out treatment customers may shop for clothing from POSH Boutique of Montville and jewelry from Cult Couture of Montclair.

With the move, the salon has doubled their amount of space, said Lombardi.
The Anthony Robert Salon has been featured on the Style Network's hit show “Jerseylicious,” currently into their fourth season. The show chronicles the lives of different hairdressers in New Jersey and the growth of their businesses.

The show has also done wonders for the Anthony Robert Salon in boosting their publicity.

“It's been amazing,” he said. “I've had people come into my salon from all over the world. People have visited from Australia, South Africa, Kuwait, England, Scotland, Italy, Spain and just about every state in the country.”

“It's our way of introducing the salon to people who might not have been here,” said Lombardi. “It's a good way to get in here and get a service done and introduce yourself to the salon. We encourage all our clients to bring a friend that hasn't been here before.”
