Village Center Alliance launches new site for use on all mobile devices.

The South Orange Village Center Alliance (SOVCA) has launched a mobile-friendly version of its website for use on mobile devices, said Lisa Hackett, SOVCA executive director.

Funded by a grant from Main Street New Jersey and designed by ITO Designs, the site gives residents access to business directories, town events and an interactive map from their smartphones or other devices.

“In today’s world folks need the option to connect with our South Orange Village businesses through a variety of devices that are part of their daily life: their phone, tablet, laptop, desktop seamlessly,” said Hackett. “[This makes] South Orange businesses easier to find, easier to call, easier to book reservations, schedule an appointment, discuss merchandise, class schedules -- generally easier to interact with.”
