This weekend is so jam-packed with events across the towns, it's difficult to get them all gathered in one place. From  a townwide garage sale to Mayfest, from Luna Stage to the Paper Mill, from lemonade stands to a farewell party for a statue of St. Patrick, it's one big fun-filled weekend.

 at Luna Stage in Orange has its last four performances starting Thursday, May 12 at 7:30 p.m., then Friday and Saturday, May 13 and 14, at 8 p.m. and closing Sunday with a 2 p.m. performance. Maplewood's own Drew Dix is a featured player. Goodbye to St. Pat at Cryan's — The St. Patrick's statue is leaving Cryan's this weekend, so Jimmy Cryan is having festivities on Friday night, May 13, to say goodbye. Stop in for some beef and ale and wish St. Paddy a good journey. There will be specials all night and a final toast to "himself" and to the Seton Hall University Class of 2011.

South Orange Library's Friday-Saturday Double-Header starts with Dan Gutman is coming Friday, May 13, at 6:30 p.m. to theSouth Orange Public Library and then Sparkhouse toys. Sparkhouse is pleased to partner with the South Orange Public Library to bring Dan Gutman to South Orange. Mr. Gutman is the author of such beloved series as My Weird School and My Weird School Daze. Other popular Gutman titles include Babe & Me,  The Homework Machine, Nightmare at the Book Fair, and many more.

On Saturday, May 14: The  returns from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. The Friends have been gathering and sorting books for weeks and agree that there are even more for sale this year than last. This is a can't-miss event for readers and those who love them!  A tent will be set up in the parking lot, and the sale continues inside the library.

The Strollers, Round and Round The Garden: Begins Friday, May 13. Showtimes are May 13 at 8:00 p.m., May 14 at 8:00 p.m. and May 15 at 2:00 p.m. (plus next week on May 20 at 8:00 p.m. and May 21 at 8:00 p.m.). The play, by  Alan Ayckbourn is the third part of Ayckbourn’s trilogy, "The Norman Conquests" — where the audience watches in astonishment and hysterics as Norman wreaks havoc on his wife’s eccentric family.

South Orange Garage Sale — Nearly 100 homes are participating in a town-wide Garage Sale Day on Saturday, May 14. The sale runs rain or shine from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Look for signs and orange balloons! Local merchants are joining in on the fun with special one-day-only "Garage Sale Day Coupons.” The businesses include , , ,, , , , , , and . Maps and coupon sheets are available at Town Hall or at the houses on the day of the sale. Also, information about individual sales will be posted on Maplewood Online and Craig’s List.

 official grand opening in at Eden Marketplace, Saturday and Sunday, May 14 and 15, from 11-2pm. Free cake samples will be given to the public. Also a cake in the shape of South Orange's firehouse, complete with firemen will be featured. This is in honor of the 10 year anniversary of 9/11. Eden Marketplace will be also be having a give away contest with prices starting at a $1000 gift card. (Free parking in the rear of store.)

8th Grade Car Wash  and Lemonade Stand! takes place on Saturday May 14, from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the South Orange Middle School parking lot. Get your jalopy sudsed up and cleaned for $6.00 per car.

 on Sunday, May 15 will feature a concert in two parts — 3-5 p.m. for rock bands and 5-7 p.m. for school ensembles with proceeds benefitting a high school in earthquake and tsunami-torn Miyagi prefecture in Japan. Tickets for the event are being sold at, , Stony's in South Orange,  and Motion Fitness. Tickets will also be sold at the door. Suggested donation is $20. Donations can also be made through Pay Pal on the HK Community Fund website. Tickets are valid for both portions of the program at 3 and 5 p.m.

The Millburn Classic Car Show is one of the biggest and the best in the ares and takes place on Sunday, May 15 on Millburn Avenue between Spring and Main Streets from noon to 4:00 p.m. The event if free to the public. For classic car owners pre-registration costs $12 or $15 on the day of the event. Rain date: Sunday, May 22

Springfield Avenue MayFest 2011: DATE CHANGED TO Sunday, May 22, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m along Springfield Avenue from Indiana Street to Oberlin Street. MayFest celebrates its 10th anniversary as one of Maplewood’s largest events and the signature event of the Springfield Avenue Partnership. This year's activities will include a petting zoo from Kafka Farms with over 40 animals and four ponies, a kiddie train, inflatable rides, balloon animal maker and so much more. Local bands will keep you tapping your toes while you are tempted by over 125 vendors, and delicious tasty treats (who doesn’t love funnel cake?). A car show featuring custom and special interest cars will make you want to take a drive and feel the fresh spring air. Rain date is May 22.

An all new revue featuring mini-musicals based on best-selling children's books: Duck for President, Fancy Nancy, Babymouse: The Musical, I Have Got to Go, Leonardo, The Terrible Monster & Pirates Don't Change Diapers.
