“We started looking into South Orange in 2005 because we knew it was an up and coming vibrant community and we liked the fact (Seton Hall) University is here,” said Caldarella, who opened the first Tito's in Summit eight years ago.

Tito's Burritos and Wings boasts a fully customizable menu, with items that can be swapped out to create the perfect meal for the customer.

“We never say no to any menu requests,” said Caldarella  “We also have a deep menu with a lot of seafood. Other restaurants are very strict to what they serve, we want to have more depth. You can take five different ingredients from five different menu items and put them together to make your own.”

One thing that makes Tito's unique is the customer service, he added. Customers frequently compliment the establishment's the service, the attitude of the employees and of course, the food.

“We built this business on customer feedback,” he said. “Who do we learn from? The people eating in our restaurant.”

Tito's has daily specials but the most popular items are the Bird Burrito, a grilled boneless chicken breast, with black beans, yellow rice, Tito’s cheeses, sour cream, pico de gallo salsa & fresh guac as well as the Mac Daddy, a grilled Grade A steak, with black beans, yellow rice, Tito’s cheeses, sour cream, pico de gallo salsa & fresh guac.
